About Madagascar

85% of all life on Madagascar is endemic to the country, meaning it is found nowhere else on the planet. Much of that life is threatened by the influence of humans; an influence that is beginning to shift in favor of the natural world. By increasing education and preservation efforts, conservationists are taking a humanitarian approach to reverse the decline of the many unique organisms that reside here. Follow me for a semester as I share what I learn while I study the wildlife of this beautiful, enigmatic island.
